Dr. Ehiorobo brings extensive training in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, backed by more than 16 years of education and specialized clinical training. During his sports medicine fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, one of the nation’s premier orthopedic training programs, he provided medical coverage for several distinguished athletic organizations, including the Boston Celtics, Harvard University, Tufts University, Bentley University, and Weston High School.

“We are excited to welcome a physician of Dr. Ehiorobo’s caliber and character to University Orthopedics,” said University Orthopedics President Julia A. Dr. Ehiorobo treats a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including ligament injuries such as ACL, MCL, and UCL tears; rotator cuff and labral injuries; meniscal tears; tendon ruptures; fractures; arthritis; joint instability; cartilage injuries; and other sports-related and degenerative musculoskeletal conditions. Offering both surgical and non-surgical options, he designs individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific goals and lifestyle.

“New England has shaped both my personal and professional journey, and I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to continue building my career here with University Orthopedics,” said Dr. Ehiorobo. “Having worked with athletes at the professional, collegiate, and high school levels, I’ve seen firsthand the impact orthopedic care can have on a person’s life. Whether a patient is recovering from a sports injury or simply wants to remain active and healthy, I am committed to providing compassionate, individualized care that helps them get back to what they love.”

A graduate of Boston College, where he also played men’s ice hockey, Dr. Ehiorobo completed a five-year orthopedic surgery residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, followed by a sports medicine fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital. Before residency, he spent two years conducting orthopedic research at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, authoring and co-authoring numerous peer-reviewed publications in orthopedic surgery and musculoskeletal medicine.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Ehiorobo is actively involved in community service and philanthropy through the Corey C. Griffin Foundation. Founded in memory of his friend, college roommate, and teammate, the foundation supports education, healthcare, and mentorship programs for underserved children throughout Massachusetts. He also plans to continue providing sports medicine coverage and support for local athletic programs, something he’s done since residency.
