University Orthopedics (UOI), Rhode Island’s premier regional center for orthopedic medicine and rehabilitation, is pleased to announce that beginning August 5, 2025, it will begin offering Hand Therapy services at its Cranston location, located at 725 Reservoir Avenue, Suite 7, Cranston, RI 02910
What Is Hand Therapy?
Our Hand Therapy Department offers specialized rehabilitation for patients with upper extremity dysfunction resulting from injury, surgery, or medical conditions. These services are delivered by registered occupational therapists with advanced expertise in upper extremity care. Many of our therapists have also achieved the esteemed Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) designation through the Hand Therapy Certification Commission, demonstrating their commitment to the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Why Cranston?
In its ongoing effort to make care more accessible throughout the region, UOI is expanding its services by adding Hand Therapy to its Cranston location. Already home to physical therapy and imaging services, the Cranston office will now provide comprehensive hand therapy on-site.
In addition to Cranston, Hand Therapy is also available at multiple UOI locations, including East Providence, East Greenwich, Providence, and Middletown in Rhode Island, as well as Mansfield, Easton, and Raynham in Massachusetts.
